Try setting "Error Reporting" to "Maximum" in the Joomla Global Configuration. That should give you more details.
You can also try to enable "Debug System" there, but I think the Error Reporting should be all that is needed.

Unfortunately error reporting was already set to Maximum. I did turn on Debugging and received the following.

 

I wasn't able to reproduce the error. But I think the attached version should fix your error
