Support for SermonSpeaker 5.x is in bugfix mode only, the same as it is for Joomla 3.10.
I will not add any new features to this releases.
Please upgrade to SermonSpeaker 6.x and Joomla 4.x, which is better anyway.

I don't know about unlimited offerings.
My own hoster is ~7$/month for 30GB data ( www.hoststar.ch/en/home/home.html ).
I know also SiteGround ( www.siteground.com/web-hosting.htm ) which gives you 10GB for currently ~5$/month.

My own church has currently around 400 sermon audio files (including notes) and they account for around 1.5 GB of data.

It's a different topic if you want to record videos. But then you better use Vimeo or YouTube to store them.

I personally would check the reputation of the hosting providers, some of them have tendency to restrict access to php.ini files, without notice, making server go from secure to un secure. you can try this one also below.
although those servers are in US.
www.godaddy.com/hosting/web-hosting.aspx?ci=9009
www.1and1.com/web-hosting?__lf=Static&li...sting#hosting-system

Some also are restricted to one domain only. If you only run one then that doesn't matter, but if you have multiple domains, then this has to be counted in.
My hoster limits it to 20 domains, which is far more than what I need. I currently use it for 6 domains. :)

Also keep in mind that some hosting servers still run php versions that are 2+ years old, I'd check on that also. ran into issue with blue host where one of their servers for a site that i helped out had php so old that only way they could get Joomla 3.x to work is by making .htaccess file blank, so no SEF URLs. as soon as you add it in whole site would explode on you.

Hi Eric ! :)

I hope that my answer is still useful.

I had the same problem, but; discovered in another system as they used Dropbox.

All sermon / audio must be in public folder

Your original link will look this:
www.dropbox.com/s/x9...bla bla bla... mp3 -https-

You must change 2 parts in the code:

1.- https => for => http
2.- www => for => dl.

and a new link will be as follows:

dl.dropbox.com/s/x9...bla bla bla... mp3

Put the link in the field audio source in Component->>Sermons->New Sermon

Now your sermon/audio must be heard in your joomla site.

You can also put the word DOWNLOAD, in the ADDITIONAL FILE field and your site users can download it directly from Dropbox.

If you have a problem, say me, please.

Hi Thomas !

I post one answer at the problem of Eric Deumo, with the sermons/audios in the external server, in my case, I use Dropbox and work fine, but; I still need to do that link automatically, as does the component Commedia.
