Ah, that is the mediaelement player plugin.
You can disable that for now, so the component at least works again.

I've finished the conversion of all code today. I will have to run some tests if the update works and then I will be able to release the new versions. So it should be a matter of a few days till I can release SermonSpeaker 7.

You are right. It works without the player.

I have a couple sites which are in need of migration to Joomla 6. Is the current component able to make the upgrade, or should I wait for the release of Sermonspeaker 7?

Unfortunately, SermonSpeaker 6 will not work in Joomla 6. It will need SermonSpeaker 7.
The good thing is: I have the code ready. I only found a minor bug when updating the modules which I will have to fix first. Then I can release the updated extension.

You should see updates now for SermonSpeaker 7 in your Joomla 6 backend.
