Support for SermonSpeaker 5.x is in bugfix mode only, the same as it is for Joomla 3.10.
I will not add any new features to this releases.
Please upgrade to SermonSpeaker 6.x and Joomla 4.x, which is better anyway.

hi,
Please i use the component for church sites, but i recently had to use it for a health research NGO. They wanted podcasts on the site, and so i deployed the powerful sermonpeaker, however the 'view the sermon and listen’ that comes up when you hover over files, is what i want to change to view the podcast and listen or remove. Please assist.

You can use the Joomla language override system to change any word. See www.sermonspeaker.net/faq/5-how-do-i-cha...enter-word-here.html
In your case you want to change this string:
COM_SERMONSPEAKER_SERMONTITLE_HOOVER="View Sermon details and listen"
