Support for SermonSpeaker 5.x is in bugfix mode only, the same as it is for Joomla 3.10.
I will not add any new features to this releases.
Please upgrade to SermonSpeaker 6.x and Joomla 4.x, which is better anyway.

Using loadposition with SS module

Purity iii template

I'm trying to publish a sermon speaker module, that shows a sermonspeaker series (for example from category 1Peter)
I'm assigning this module to a custom position ModPeterSermons
I'm worried by the field "select a menu entry" as unsure what this does

I then have a joomla article about 1Peter sermons, and in the article I want to use {loadposition ModPeterSermons} to show the sermon series module

For some reason the module does not display. I have it set to 'display on all pages'

Is what I am trying to do technically possible?
Purity ii template has a 'portfolio layout' which I hope to use to show all my articles, one for each sermon series.

With thanks in advance for any time you are able to give.

I'm so sorry. Struggled for ages before deciding I would have to ask for help.
Then had a brainwave, went to sermonspeaker, series manager, and the series 1Peter - added the whole series to category "1Peter" and saved
(At first I had only added individual sermons to the category)

Loadposition now working as hoped.
Will ask again if I get stuck further along, but for now I am fine.
Thank you for your great component. Our small church relies on it, commercial websites are beyond our budget so we are very grateful

Regarding the menuitem setting, that one specifies which menuitems gets used to built the links for the sermons.
So select the most appropriate menuitem for a sermon you find.
