Change default number of items

Is there a way to change the default number of items displayed when doing a 'sermons list'? Or any other view it seems. It looks like the default is 20 but we would like to change it to a higher one if possible.

Look in the global Joomla Configuration. There is a list limit setting there which is the value SermonSpeaker takes.

I figured I would just ask here since it is somewhat related. The width of the drop-down menu doesn't seem to be large enough to properly show the number. It works fine when at 20 but not 30. Is there some CSS or another way to make that bigger? See picture.

The width is set by the CSS of your template. So yes, you can change it.
