Support for SermonSpeaker 5.x is in bugfix mode only, the same as it is for Joomla 3.10.
I will not add any new features to this releases.
Please upgrade to SermonSpeaker 6.x and Joomla 4.x, which is better anyway.

JW Player won't start was created by Bing Crosby
Thomas,
I'm a little stuck on an item and hope that you can give me some direction. I'm setting up my first Amazon S3 hosted sermons and can't seem to get JW Player 7 to function. Here's the given:
If I click on the JWP7 start button, nothing happens. I've also noticed that if I use PixelOut instead of JW Player 7, it shows "error".
I'm also having an issue with iTunes not playing the audio file even though they show up in iTunes. I'm guessing this may be a bad URL issue and I am in the process of refreshing my podcast area. I should state that when I hosted my audio files locally, I had no issues.
Any advice would be appreciated.
Thank you!
I'm a little stuck on an item and hope that you can give me some direction. I'm setting up my first Amazon S3 hosted sermons and can't seem to get JW Player 7 to function. Here's the given:
- SermonSpeaker can find the audio file on S3 when I create a new sermon
- I can play the files directly from my S3 bucket
- I have the latest JW Player license installed and the JWP7 Plugin set to "self"
- the JW Player 7 plugin is set to autostart
- I have renamed all the audio files to avoid a bad URL

Make sure the files in that bucket are set to be accessible by public.
The players as well as iTunes need direct access to the file.

Thanks, Thomas. Noobie question 101. Kinda embarrassed I missed the "public" setting. Everything works now.
