Support for SermonSpeaker 5.x is in bugfix mode only, the same as it is for Joomla 3.10.
I will not add any new features to this releases.
Please upgrade to SermonSpeaker 6.x and Joomla 4.x, which is better anyway.

"Sorry, unfortunately I didn't find any Sermons"

I created a new speaker, category and sermon. I then created a menu item Sermons List. When I create a Category List, it does show "1 sermon" but either way, I get the message "Sorry, unfortunately I didn't find any Sermons."

I use SermonSpeaker on another site and don't have this issue.

Any suggestions what I might be doing wrong?

Usually it's a missing or invalid category for either the sermon, speaker or series. If any of the three isn't valid or is not available for public view, the sermon is not shown.
If that all is correct, I would have to see the site to check a bit more.

I'm not sure I understand "invalid category" but I have only one category, it's published and set for public access. The category is selected for the sermon and speaker.

Interestingly, I initially created this in a sandbox site and it works. I copied all settings and still have the issue. The only difference is the server. The live church site is on GoDaddy but I don't see why that would be an issue.

What category does the series have? The same?
Try to save them again to make sure the category is assigned properly to the item(s).

Invalid categories can happen when you copy the SermonSpeaker tables from one site to another. Usually you then don't copy the categories table and create a fresh category on the new server. The copied items however still reference the old category id which is likely wrong on the new server.

Odd, I did not copy the database fields, I actually created everything new. However, going throw and resaving resolved the issue.

Thanks for the help and quick responses!
