Support for SermonSpeaker 5.x is in bugfix mode only, the same as it is for Joomla 3.10.
I will not add any new features to this releases.
Please upgrade to SermonSpeaker 6.x and Joomla 4.x, which is better anyway.

Try enabling "Show Title" in the module settings and check again. If it doesn't show at all, then it's something in the module settings and we can rule out the SermonSpeaker settings and the stuff related to the load module plugin.
Check
* menu assignments if it is really set to show "on all pages"
* access settings. Try with Access set to public to rule out ACL issues.
* Obviously check the status
* If it's a multilang site, check the "Language" if it is set to "All".
* Delete the Start / Finish Publishing dates if there is anything in it.

That's about what I can imagine.

To finish this story.
I checked all the permissions, ACL all over again - all looked good and yet my test user assigned to sermon admin still couldn't see the module when using loadposition. I tried a menuitem of type sermon frontend upload, and that gave (interestingly) a 403 error.

However, when I created a completely new test user, and assigned them to the sermon admin group; oh joy, all works as it should!

It appears that it is important to set all the permissions and all options correct at first, then assign user. Not to assign users then fiddle about with the settings afterwards.

I do hope that this helps anyone else, if they should have the same issue.

In theory, it shouldn't matter. Maybe you need to log off and on the user again, but I think the permissions are actually calculated on each request cycle.
