Customize front-end editing

Dear Thomas,
I want to let users do limited editing on sermons. For example, just the fields notes, tags, scripture.
I searched the web and some one says it can be done for Articles with template override.
Can I do this by template override and which file I should override? Or SermonSpeaker component itself must be modified?

If we're talking about frontend editing, then you would need to override this file: github.com/Bakual/SermonSpeaker/blob/mas...oad/tmpl/default.php
Keep in mind that most fields must be present, otherwise the data will be lost after saving. So make them readonly or hidden if the user shouldn't manipulate it.
