invalid file type and max file size

hi, pls am having two problems with my sermonspeaker configuration, i kept receiving this msg "invalid file type" whenever i try to upload my mp3 file, i have added mp3 to the list of supported files on my joomla instance but i kept receiving the error msg.
secondly i saw this msg too "Upload is limited to 8M by your PHP settings", i have also changed the file size to 100mb on my php.ini file.
Pls what am i missing.
Am using sermonspeaker 5.2 and joomla 3.3.0

In the SermonSpeaker options in the "Editing" tab, the "Audio Filetypes" should look like this:

Make sure you have saved the options at least once.

If the message says the upload is limited to 8M, it's either the "post_max_size" or the "upload_max_filesize" directive in the php.ini file which limits the upload to this amount.
