Support for SermonSpeaker 5.x is in bugfix mode only, the same as it is for Joomla 3.10.
I will not add any new features to this releases.
Please upgrade to SermonSpeaker 6.x and Joomla 4.x, which is better anyway.

But when I change this to another category like this www.preekindex.nl/compilaties/speaker/34-anne-van-der-bijl (the category 'compilaties'), that he does one of the 2 things:

1. Send itself to the right url (instead of compilates/... goes to preken/...
2. Send itself to the mainsite and give a 404 or a 301.

Is this possible?

The way Joomla works, this is not easily possible within an extension.

You could set up redirects withing the redirect component in your backend, or use one of the SEO components.
