Support for SermonSpeaker 5.x is in bugfix mode only, the same as it is for Joomla 3.10.
I will not add any new features to this releases.
Please upgrade to SermonSpeaker 6.x and Joomla 4.x, which is better anyway.

I love SermonSpeaker. It has become our place to post sermons.

But today we were presented with an odd situation. The audio recording failed - completely. And we do not yet do video recordings. But I have sermon notes (which we recently began adding to the entry).

I am able to create an entry and fill in all the appropriate fields, but though it says it is published, it does not appear in the UI. Is there a way for this to be visible even though no audio or video files are attached?

It should work fine even without any files at all.
Just make sure that you don't accidentally filter the list for "Audio". For that you need to check the menu item and look for the "Type Filter" in the "Advanced" tab.
