Support for SermonSpeaker 5.x is in bugfix mode only, the same as it is for Joomla 3.10.
I will not add any new features to this releases.
Please upgrade to SermonSpeaker 6.x and Joomla 4.x, which is better anyway.

I have upgraded to 5.1 and the player disappeared.

it appears for a second and then fades away.

I can reproduce the error on my server. I just have to figure out where it fails.
The only player which is able to play wma files is the JW WMV Player. But SermonSpeaker should automatically detect and load this player.

I found a bug in the HTML5 player. It was a bit overconfident in which files it can play :)
Can you test this version?

It would also work if you set the player in your SermonSpeaker options to "JW WMV Player".
