Support for SermonSpeaker 4.x is canceled as it is for Joomla 2.5. I will gladly assist you with minor issues but I will not fix any bugs anymore in this releases.
The fix is to upgrade to SermonSpeaker 5.x and Joomla 3.x, which is better anyway.

On a single speaker page the speaker name is click able which takes the user to a slightly different speaker page. We also have Series and latest sermon links. Could we turn of the link in this case it can be confusing.

It should link back to the same page, but it doesn't. So it's a bug, will fix this. Thanks for pointing out!
