Support for SermonSpeaker 4.x is canceled as it is for Joomla 2.5. I will gladly assist you with minor issues but I will not fix any bugs anymore in this releases.
The fix is to upgrade to SermonSpeaker 5.x and Joomla 3.x, which is better anyway.

FrontEnd uploads additional files to wrong folder was created by James Goff
Joomla 2.5.11
SermonSpeaker 4.5.4 and all modules and plugins up to date
Path to Sermons: images/sermons/Audio_Sermons
Path to Addfiles: images/sermons/sermon_notes
When I upload a new sermon from the front-end it places additional files in the "Audio_Sermons" folder instead of "sermon_notes".
The backend upload works fine.
Because it ends up in the wrong folder the additional file does not show up in the dropdown which is looking in the Addfiles path.
I have another similar Joomla setup that shows the identical bug.
Server Specs: Ubuntu 12.04, nginx web server
Thank you for any help in this matter. SermonSpeaker is a wonderful joomla component and your hard work is greatly appreciated.

You're right, I see the problem.
The Flash Uploader in frontend misses a "type" parameter in the target URL. SermonSpeaker then defaults to "audio" and thus threats all uploads as audiofiles.
I'll fix it when I'm home.

Can you try the attached file?
Extract the zipfile and put the view.html.php to
This should fix it if I'm right.
