Support for SermonSpeaker 4.x is canceled as it is for Joomla 2.5. I will gladly assist you with minor issues but I will not fix any bugs anymore in this releases.
The fix is to upgrade to SermonSpeaker 5.x and Joomla 3.x, which is better anyway.

I have an issue with both the audio and video popups not expanding big enough to display the players w/o expanding the windows.
Also, none of the templates give all the info I want laid out in a nice way. The closest to what I want is "Columns" but it wastes so much space. Is there anywhere I can go to get more templates? Or is there someone who does custom work on these?

The columns layout doesn't play well with your generally long sermon titles. You could try with a smaller font or wider template, then the columns would all be on a single line (like for the "Pass It On" sermon, instead of 2 lines.
The video popup seems to do just fine for me. The audio popup is good in high, but loads to far right. Basically your template applies a minimum width of 1000px to the body in the print.css file, and thus the popup is just to small.
To me this looks more like a bug in the template. SermonSpeaker loads the popup with the tmpl=component parameter which means only the component output will be rendered without the modules around it. For this Joomla loads the templates component.php file instead of the regular index.php. Your template seems to assume that this always means it's a print popup, which may be true for the Joomla core but for sure isn't true for all 3rd party extensions.
You can try to remove that line from your print.css and see how that works. I don't think it will even break something.

Happy New Year Thomas!
Thanks for the reply, and please forgive me if it sounded like I was blaming SS - I didn't mean to have it sound like that - I really getting to love the extension and am grateful to you for offering it at such a bargain "price"!
My problem is I'm no coder, though I cut n paste well and understand some of the simpler concepts, so troubleshooting is always a mission for me. I followed your suggestion and commented out that line in print.css and that made the pop ups work perfectly - thank you! I usually never have the "Print" icons displayed on any sites so loosing that line, as you say, shouldn't be an issue.
I have a friendly coder in Wisconsin I may let loose on the template. I like "columns" as it has the player buttons on the list page rather than having to click through to a "details" page to see them (because the way I have it working there aren't any more details on that page to see). Maybe I can just get him to add the buttons to the bottom of "tables" or "tableless" which would work.
BTW, our church absolutely loves the new sermon setup, especially that you can access both audio and video on one page (the other designer had them on separate menu links!!) plus the podcast feature.
Again, I really appreciate your work!!

I don't mind help solving problems with SermonSpeaker, even if it's caused by the template. Most problems come from there anyway
By the way: A good tool to detect CSS formatting problems is already included in most browsers. At least Chrome and IE have it, for Firefox there are plugins available. It's called developer tools or similar and is usually activated using "F12". With this tool you can click on a given element and it will show you all CSS rules for that element. You can even change values on the fly. It's really helpful
If you want to change an existing layout or even create your own, you may want to have a look at the docs section www.sermonspeaker.net/documentation/layouting.html
Also I would be very interested in your changes. I'm not a good designer as I lack the creativity for this. If you have good ideas, I can see to include your changes so they are available for others as well.
