Support for SermonSpeaker 4.x is canceled as it is for Joomla 2.5. I will gladly assist you with minor issues but I will not fix any bugs anymore in this releases.
The fix is to upgrade to SermonSpeaker 5.x and Joomla 3.x, which is better anyway.

I'm having some trouble with the xml feed. Maybe someone can help me figure it out. Here is the validation results from Feedburner...

Sorry

This feed does not validate.

line 50, column 6: XML parsing error: <unknown>:50:6: junk after document element [help]

</rss><br />
^
In addition, interoperability with the widest range of feed readers could be improved by implementing the following recommendations.

Feeds should not be served with the "text/html" media type [help]

Your feed appears to be encoded as "utf-8", but your server is reporting "US-ASCII" [help]

It's a Joomla bug which should be fixed with Joomla 2.5 (maybe also newest 1.7.x):
github.com/joomla/joomla-platform/issues/327

Try upgrading your Joomla and see if it works.

Your feed appears to be encoded as "utf-8", but your server is reporting "US-ASCII"

You may also want to try if you can change your apache to utf-8, but it's not the issue in this case.

Thanks for the quick responses. I'm running Joomla 1.7.3. I downloaded 1.7.5 and checked the cache.php file and there didn't seem to be any changes on lines 501 and 530 so I didn't upgrade. I have several plugins that aren't compatible with 2.5 yet so I don't want to upgrade that far at this time.

I did disable the cache and the feed is working perfectly now.
