Support for SermonSpeaker 4.x is canceled as it is for Joomla 2.5. I will gladly assist you with minor issues but I will not fix any bugs anymore in this releases.
The fix is to upgrade to SermonSpeaker 5.x and Joomla 3.x, which is better anyway.

I have created several Podcasts using Sermon Speaker software and created a feed to iTunes. On the iTunes site I can see the Podcasts and play them by clicking on them individually. Also , the feed validates OK in feed validation application.

However, When I hit "Subscribe" ( to the podcast ) in iTunes Nothing happens. NO thing is added to my iTunes Podcasts menu. This in unlike what happens for other feeds where hitting Subscribe generates an icon in the Podcasts menu and feeds update automatically as new items are added.
What do I need to do to get this to work?

Can you post a link to the feed? Then I could have a look at it. However if it validates and if it even works withing the iTunes store, then I don't really know what could be the issue. Sounds more like an Apple issue to me then.

Are you using a 3rd party SEF component in your Joomla? Maybe this messes up something somehow.
The non-SEF link ( www.rivieralifemedia.co.uk/index.php?opt...monspeaker&view=feed ) is working fine with iTunes. You can manually add it to the podcasts. The SEF link doesn't work for some reason.

You could ask Apple why that could be. I have no clue as it shouldn't matter at all if you use SEF or not. Personally I use non-SEF URLs for the Apple podcast store, as it makes life easier if you ever going to change the name of your SEF URL for the podcast.

I did ask my web master to change the SEF url as you advised and I can now subscribe to the podcasts feed in the iTunes store, however for some reason the iTunes store no longer updates with the new podcasts. I have contacted Apple help and they say they have reset the feed. I am at a loss as to what to do. Any ideas?

you can setup a redirect from old feed URL to new one if you have one podcast? word of caution though, if you have 2 podcasts one pointing to new feed and one to old. when you set up redirect on old one both feeds will stop updating because they will have duplicate title and link.
Code:
<title>Riviera Life Church</title> <link>http://www.rivieralifemedia.co.uk/</link>
you can also try renaming title see if that will work.
