Support for SermonSpeaker 4.x is canceled as it is for Joomla 2.5. I will gladly assist you with minor issues but I will not fix any bugs anymore in this releases.
The fix is to upgrade to SermonSpeaker 5.x and Joomla 3.x, which is better anyway.

By default the player has a width of 80% of the available space. This can be adjusted using CSS. As an example you could use this in your templates CSS file:

All versions of SermonSpeaker 4.x work with Joomla 2.5, while all versions of SermonSpeaker 3.x work with Joomla 1.5.

There is a migration guide at the FAQs and there is also an older newspost about SermonSpeaker and Joomla 2.5
