Support for SermonSpeaker 3.x is canceled as it is for Joomla 1.5. I will gladly assist you with minor issues but I will not fix any bugs anymore in this releases.
The fix is to upgrade to SermonSpeaker 4.x, which is better anyway.

Has anyone adapted SermonSpeaker to serve other types of audio files? I never found anything I liked for our choir music. I was thinking of just trying to use SermonSpeaker for both. From the administrator's perspective the sermons and music can be together, but I want them to appear to be separate on our website.

You could use categories to do something like that. One category for the music and one for sermons and then filter for this category.

The word "sermon" and similar things should then be named to something more generic since the choir music is probably not a sermon ;-)
